Cinderella - If the Shoe Fits! was our third summer camp with a record of 28 students, half returning and half new. After optional auditions, everyone got to have a part in Cinderella, even with their own speaking line! This show was a big change from anything we had done before, with complete costumes (instead of t-shirts) and more songs/scenes to learn. Our kids worked extra hard with a short rehearsal process and pulled off the best show yet! Our assistants, returning and new, included Sheridan Mirador, Zoe Jonas, Kennedy Wolf, Luke Knopke, Charlotte Lawrence, Colette Worthington and Eleanor Hlobik, our photographer!
Wing It! May & June 2017
Wing It! was our second JEM camp, held at St. Paul's Episcopal Day School and performed on June 3rd, 2017. We had 24 kids join us for this camp, some returning and some new, for an exciting week of dance, music, and fun! We helped all of our students reach out of their comfort zone, whether that was singing on stage, making new friends, or leading a theater game. A big thank you to all of our assistants: Sheridan Mirador, Lucy Brock, Luke Knopke, Margaret Veglahn, Claire Rupp, Maeve Donovan, Ashley Hendricks, and Mia Randolph, our photographer! For the first time, each child had a picture of themselves taken (or a headshot) to use for future auditions, etc!
The Journey of the Noble Gnarble May & June 2016
The Journey of the Noble Gnarble was our very first JEM Productions camp, held at St. Paul's Episcopal Day School in the summer of 2016, with the performance on June 4th. We had so much fun putting on this show and we know the kids did too! We are especially proud of our 19 campers because they put on a full show in just five short days. Special thank you to our assistants: Margaret Veglahn, Mia Randolph, Charlotte Ganter, Maeve Donovan, Janey Wetzel, and Claire Rupp! We could not have done our 2016 summer camp without you.
